About Aldar
Aldar Properties was founded in Abu Dhabi in 2004 and its shares trade on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. It merged with Sorouh in 2013 and has developed many of Abu Dhabi's best-known communities on Yas Island, Al Raha Beach and Saadiyat. In 2023 it acquired the UK developer London Square.
In 2023 Aldar entered Dubai through a joint venture with Dubai Holding. Its first three communities — Haven, Athlon and The Wilds — had achieved AED 21.5 billion in sales, according to the partners.
In February 2026 the joint venture announced two further plots with almost 14,000 homes and a combined value of more than AED 38 billion: a site opposite Nad Al Sheba and a site on Palm Jebel Ali.
