About Atara Development
In August 2025 Atara Development signed an agreement with Marriott International for The Residences at Sheraton Al Marjan Island Resort, the GCC's first Sheraton-branded residences. According to Khaleej Times, Atara had earlier sold out projects on Pearl Jumeirah, La Mer South Island and Dubai Islands, and uses an in-house construction team.
In October 2025 it unveiled Kaia, a completed six-bedroom villa on Pearl Jumeirah valued at AED 60 million and the first home in its Terra Collection.
By September 2026 the Sheraton project was under construction, revised to 168 furnished one- and two-bedroom units, and in October 2026 Atara launched Velora Residence, 58 furnished homes on Island A, Dubai Islands.
