Palma was founded by Kareem Derbas, who made the company's first investment in Dubai Marina in 2002. Its first project, Residencia Del Mar in Dubai Marina, was largely sold within its first month, according to the founder.
On Palm Jumeirah, Palma developed Serenia Residences and later launched Serenia Living — 226 apartments and penthouses — in October 2022. By 2017 the company had developed nine projects, according to its founder.
