Buyers in Dubai are increasingly choosing apartments they can move into or rent out straight away.

In October 2026, 2,988 ready apartments changed hands for a total of AED 5.28 billion (about $1.44 billion). That is 25.7% more by value and 22.6% more by number of deals than in September, and the best monthly result since February.
A growing share of the market.
Ready units made up about 37% of the value of all apartment sales in Dubai in October and just over a third of all apartment transactions, including off-plan. Buyers value the absence of construction risk and the opportunity to earn rental income from day one.
Where people bought.
Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) was the clear volume leader with 384 sales worth AED 364.8 million. Business Bay came second with 237 deals but had the highest total value among the top five — AED 448.6 million. Next were Liwan (187 sales), International City Phase 1 (129) and Dubai Marina (123 deals worth AED 338.6 million).
Luxury: Palm Jumeirah sets the tone.
Forty-four ready apartments priced at AED 10 million and above sold for a combined AED 700 million. Eighteen of them were on Palm Jumeirah, accounting for almost half of the segment's value. The two most expensive apartment deals of the month were also on the Palm — AED 55 million and AED 53.7 million.
Our view.
Affordable communities such as JVC attract investors looking for steady rental yields, while prime addresses like Palm Jumeirah and Business Bay draw buyers seeking long-term value.
